Do I need to log in or install anything?
No. There’s no account, login, or extension. You paste a public link and the tool does the rest.
Can I get captions from private accounts?
No. Instaustad works only with public posts and reels. Content from private accounts isn’t accessible, and we don’t try to bypass privacy settings.
Do you store my links or captions?
The links you paste and the captions you retrieve are not saved. The site may use cookies for ads and analytics, which are described on our Privacy page.
Why did I get “no caption found”?
The post may be private or deleted, may have no caption, or Instagram may be temporarily unavailable. Check that the link opens in a private browser window, then try again.
Can I repost someone else’s caption?
Captions belong to their creators. Use them for inspiration, credit the author if you quote them, and ask for permission before reposting or using them commercially.
