If you're a creator and you're concerned about how your content shows up through Instaustad, or you believe something has been handled incorrectly, here's exactly what to do and what happens next.
Creator Protection
We do not store or host content, and we review all creator requests directly.
What we actually display, to be clear first
Every tool on this site shows you information that's already public on Instagram — a caption, a bio, a profile picture. We don't rehost or permanently store this content on our own servers; each lookup pulls the current public version at the time you use the tool.
If a post is deleted or made private, there's nothing left for anyone to retrieve through us, the same as if you visited the original link directly.
If you want something reviewed anyway
Even though we're not hosting a copy of your content, we understand there are legitimate reasons a creator might still want to raise a concern — maybe you believe a tool is being used to take your words out of context, or you have a broader concern about how your public content is being surfaced.
Reach out through our contact page and include the specific post, reel, or profile link involved, a clear description of your concern, and how you'd like it addressed.
What happens after you reach out
Someone on our side reads every message that comes in through the contact page — this isn't sent to an unmonitored inbox. We'll look into the specific link or issue you've raised and get back to you directly.
We're a small, independent site, so we can't promise a formal legal response process the way a large platform might, but we do take these seriously and respond rather than ignore them.
Human Response Commitment:
Every inquiry is read by a real team member. We do not rely on automated bot auto-replies or unmonitored queues.
A note on what we can and can't control
Because we're not hosting your content, there's a limit to what "removal" means in our context — we can stop a tool from surfacing something, or adjust how something is described, but we can't remove your actual post from Instagram itself.
If the underlying concern is about the post being on Instagram at all, that request needs to go to Instagram directly, and we're happy to point you toward their official reporting channels if that's what you actually need.
Why we're spelling this out
A copyright policy that just says "contact us with concerns" doesn't tell a creator what actually happens after they do that. We'd rather you know upfront that a real person reads these messages and that we'll be honest with you about what we can and can't do, rather than leaving you to guess.
No Instagram password is required to read this independent guide.
