Choose the view that fits the job.
The same public profile, presented for a different practical need.
From username to a useful view in three steps.
- 01
Enter the account
Type a username, @handle or complete Instagram profile URL.
- 02
Check public information
We show the public profile details beside the image so you can verify the account.
- 03
Use it thoughtfully
Copy, view or save only in ways that respect privacy, ownership and permission.
A careful path from profile to picture.
The account context stays beside the image so you can confirm you found the right person before saving anything.
Preview before saving
Check the public image and username together instead of downloading an unidentified file.
Simple local file
When an image is available, save a clearly named reference copy to your device.
Permission comes first
Public visibility is not a license for advertising, impersonation or unauthorized commercial reuse.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download any profile picture I find?
Available does not mean free to reuse. Save it only when your use is lawful and permission requirements are satisfied.
What file will I receive?
The save button downloads the public image through Instaustad’s local image proxy and gives it a username-based filename.
Why is the save button missing?
Instagram may not expose a usable public image for that account, or the profile service may be temporarily limited.
Can I use the picture commercially?
Do not assume so. Ask the image owner or rights holder before using it in marketing, products or paid media.
